Seattle musician Chris Stanley blends husky vocals with swampy acoustic guitar and Austin flavored electric blues. His concerts present dramatic contrasts of mood & vivacity, balancing the lively rush of certain songs with the deeper sorrow and lingering sullen notes of others. Chris Stanley's spontaneous antics and warm comedic dialogue tie together his intense and vibrant cheers in salute to and celebration of life's little complications.
Chris Stanley, Seattle native, has spent the past eight years establishing a reputation for his unique style of acoustic rock. Recorded at a discrete studio in Washington State, the new EP "Crossing Over" (now available at CD Baby) blends husky vocals with swampy acoustic guitar, a touch of electronic grooves, and lightens up with some delicate piano. Samples from recording sessions of the Chris Stanley Band have received airtime on 103.7 FM "The Mountain", 107.7 FM "The End", 90.3 KEXP, & 102.5 KZOK

Believe. We believe performing live is the most important aspect of music today. Last August Chris took the "Car Toys" stage in support of the "Dave Matthews Band" concert weekend at the Gorge Amphitheater (Washington) and is now laying the ground work for a new album.
